Rainbow City: Community Murals
Rainbow City is a thematic mural series that exchanges murals designed in one region with murals from another, encouraging cross community engagement.

Rainbow City creates a sense of community between different regions with art.
Learning Outcomes
The community based nature of the mural making process in Rainbow City encourages dialogue, collaboration and a sense of belonging. Designs for the murals come from different regions of Nepal, allowing participants to appreciate Nepal's diversity.
Activities
Rainbow City workshops explore the local culture, space, and the languages of the communities. Participants describe their environments in works of art, map making, letters or postcards that will be passed onto an artist, who will draw elements from the participant's work to create a mural.
